The AJC Scholarship Foundation
The Adam J. Cirillo Scholarship Foundation was started as a charitable trust in 1968, by Adam J. Cirillo and a group of Brooklyn Tech Football Alumni. The purpose of the AJC Scholarship Foundation is to grant scholarship opportunities to Brooklyn Tech High School football players who display outstanding qualities. Adam Cirillo felt that football players were disadvantaged in their quest to compete with other students who solely devote their time to study while performing no extra-curricular activities for the school. The AJC Scholarship Foundation seeks to reward student-athletes who develop both mind and body while displaying leadership abilities.
Additionally, the AJC Scholarship Foundation seeks to award grants to deserving community and /or organizations that further charitable, religious, scientific, literary or educational pursuits.
